The 2e Brigade Parachutiste (or 2e RPIMA) is a French airborne brigade appearing in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

Overview[]

The 2e RPIMa was created in 1947 before the start of the First Indochina War, deploying twice and then being pulled out. After the war, it was posted to Morocco in 1954 and then liquefied. It was reformed as the 2nd Colonial Parachute Regiment in 1955 after being cobbled together using older inactive brigades, then re-renamed as the 2e RPIMa once again in 1958.

They helped the British mug Port Said during the Suez Crisis in 1956.

Afterwards, they participated in Tunisia (Crise de Bizerte 1961), Djibouti, Comoros, Rwanda, and Opération Azalée in Comoros once again. After all of their hard work, they got to participate in a military exercise in '09.
