Available to PACT forces, the 2S3 Akatsiya is a self-propelled artillery vehicle of the Soviet Union. Its variants are the 2S3M Akatsiya and the 2S19 MSTA-S.
History[]
2S3 Akatsiya is a Soviet 152.4 mm self-propelled gun developed in 1968. This was the Soviet response to the American M109. These were used the the Divisional Artillery Regiments of the Tank and Motor Rifle Division and in artillery units at higher echelons.
