The AH-1T Seacobra IP (Improved Performance) is one of the gunship helicopters that is available to the Untied States, it was first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

History[]

Only 69 AH-1J were delivered to the USMC due to Marines wanting TOW and more powerful engines. First flight of the prototype was 20 May 1976. AH-1T had P&WC T400-WV-402 Twin Pac engine with 1,470 kW, transmission system, bigger rotor and tail rotor. The survivor of the first 33 AH-1T were upgraded to carry TOW missiles. These served in the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadrons before being replaced by AH-1W.
