The AH-1W Supercobra is one of the gunship helicopters that is available to the United States, it was first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

The AH-1W Supercobra is armed with an M197 20mm autocannon, two AGM-122 Sidearm anti-radar missiles and eight TOW-2 ATGMs. This unit was originally a multipurpose anti-tank/anti-air helicopter in both Wargame: AirLand Battle and Wargame: Red Dragon, but it was altered in a later DLC to be a combined anti-tank and SEAD gunship, replacing the helicopter's AIM-9M Sidewinder missiles with the AGM-122 Sidearm. The Sidearm missile is based on the Sidewinder, allowing the in-game model of the Supercobra to remain unaltered.
The addition of an anti-radar missile to this unit gives BLUFOR and the USA a similar capability to the Soviet Ka-52 recon helicopter, which also carries SEAD missiles.
