The ATGM Milan F1 is an anti-tank team in the Wargame series that was first introduced for France in Wargame: European Escalation.
History[]
MILAN F1 was a product of the Euromissile consortium entering service in 1972. This ATGM was a second generation ATGM replacing earlier ATGM and 106mm Recoilless Rifles.
The Mechanized Infantry Regiment was equipped with a AT Platoon with 8 2 man MILAN Teams at the company level.
Infantry Regiment has a MILAN section in the weapon platoon in the company level. A VAB equipped regiment has 4 MILAN mounted in Jeeps.
Alpine Chasseur Battalion or Mountain Infantry Regiment has a AT Platoon with 6 MILANS in the Combat Support Company.
Airborne Infantry Regiment has a Combat support company with two AT Platoons with 6 MILANS each along with a 1 weapons platoon with 2 MILAN teams at the company level.
Marine Infantry Regiment has a Combat support company with two a AT Platoon with 6 MILANS.
Régiment de combat aéromobile of the 4e division aéromobile has three anti-tank and recon companies which has a anti-tank section of 15 MILAN.
