The BTR-70K is a Soviet Command Armor that first appears in Wargame: AirLand Battle.
History[]
The BTR-70K was the command version of the BTR-70 with additional radios, several whip antennas, navigation device and a portable generator. These served as the battalion command vehicles.
Overview[]
Compared to other IFV chassis CVs, the reason why the BTR-70K costs 5 points more is because of its speed: 80/150 KPH, as the Road Speed of BMD-1K is only 110 KPH while the Speed of BMP-1K is only 60 KPH. However, this is also its only advantage.
It should be noted that the speed of the 120-point BRDM-2U is the same with BTR-70K, but the former is not armed, and its Front Armor is only 1.
