BWP-2D is a Polish Infantry Fighting Vehicle that appears in Wargame: AirLand Battle

History[]

During the Soviet–Afghan War, Soviet up armored the BMP-2 with additional armor on the sides, crew positions and turret.

BMP-2 which was designed in Poland service as BWP-2 was planned to serve as the replacement for BWP-1. But with economic issues only 62 were bought in 1989 with then leaving Polish service being sold to Angola in 1994. 60 of these BWP-2 were used in 1 Pułk Zmechanizowany of the 1 Warszawska Dywizja Zmechanizowana.
