Buffel BV is a South African Command Armor that first appears in South Africa DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Buffel is a MRAP infantry mobility vehicle used by the South African Defence Force during the South African Border War. During the Border War, Anti-tank mines was one of the primary threat vectors so Unimog S trucks were modified to the Bosvark standard. These vehicles were limited in small arms protection so a new armoured driver's cab and separate armoured troop compartment was placed on the Unimog chassis
This vehicles serves as the command element for a South African Infantry formation mounted on Buffel.
