Eland 60 is a South African Mortar Carrier that first appears in the South African DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Eland was a South African made Panhard AML. Eland 60 was armed with the K1 Gun mortar. This was the South African made model of Brandt Mle CM60A1 Gun-Mortar. One or two of these armored cars were used in the Armored Car troops for fire support. Due to Eland 60 having issues with keep up with Ratel series vehicles used by the infantry, these were replaced by Ratel 60 which was larger and carry a infantry squad. The last Eland left service in 1994 being replaced by Rooikat.
