The Gongbyong (Korean: 공병/工兵, meaning "Engineers") is a South Korean engineer squad that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Like their American counterparts, each ROKA infantry division will have an engineer battalion. South Korea was the only foreign user of the M202 Flash.
Overview and tactics[]
The Gongbyong have the same stats as the U.S. Assault Engineers. The Flash can fire four times before reloading, and its 4 HE Power can destroy vehicles with 2 armor in close combat, not to mention infantry, although the reserve of 8 rockets may soon be exhausted. The suggested transport is KM900, which is used to seize the urban area as soon as possible.
Of course, Gongbyong does not have anti-tank capabilities, so they should not be deployed individually.
