Jægerkorpset is the special forces of the Danish Army. The unit is based on the SAS and trains alongside similar allied units. Jæger's are recognized as some of the most skilled parachuter operators in the world. During the Cold War they specialized in HAHO jumps, aimed at performing special recon deep inside East Germany and Poland. Inspired by the SAS and Operation Nimrod, the corps developed anti-capacities during the 80's and 90's.
Jægerkorpset provides the Danish Army with a mobile strike force, excelling at operating behind enemy lines.
