K200 KIFV is a South Korean made replacement for the American M113. Like their American counterparts, K200 serves as the base model for various variants. K242 was the 107mm Mortar Carrier variant with the 4.2 Inches serving as the reference for the 42 in the vehicles name.
Each of the Armored and Mechanized Battalions had access to 4 K242 in their mortar platoons. The divisional Reconnaissance battalion had access to mortars.
