KM113A1 is a South Korean Armoured Personnel Carrier that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.

History[]

South Korea started to get M113 in 1965. A total of 400 M113 plus M113 derivatives served in South Korea. These were replaced by K200.

Overview[]

In Red Dragon, the KM113A1 is the South Korea's most basic armoured personnel carrier. A 5-point tracked APC with 1 armor all around, it is available to the widest range of infantry units of any transport, and it comes armed with a .50 caliber M2 Browning. Its 1 armor gives it slight protection against small arms fire, but offers nothing against LAW rounds of any kind. However, its low cost and extremely high availability make it good for quickly and cheaply deploying large numbers of units en masse, lending some degree of cost efficiency as opposed to the wheeled 10 point KM900 or IFV KAFV 25.

However, the player should probably take the K200 due to it being slightly superior in terms of stats (1+ frontal AV and slightly better off-road/amphibious speed) and having no avail minus.
