Leopard AS1+ is an ANZAC Main Battle Tank that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Australia locally upgraded their own Leopard AS1 with a EDGA - the Electronic Digital Gunnery Aid assisted with the accuracy of information provided to the computer. [1] Another upgrades were crew comfort upgrades like Mobile Camouflage System which along with degree of protection against thermal imagery provides insulation and a climate control unit. These upgrade came in the mid 90s. The Leopards would then be retired in 2007 and replaced with M1A1 Abram tanks with 30 being gifted to various veteran organizations throughout Australia with the remaining retired batch being sold to defense companies.
