The Leopard AS1 Recce is an ANZAC Armored Recon that introduced in Nation Pack: Italy DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Australian Centurion Mk.5/1 was replaced by Leopard AS1 staring 1977 with first tanks ordered in 1974 in 1st Armored Regiment. Leopard AS1 and M60 were tested by Medium Tank Trials Unit during the early 1970s. These were modified Leopard 1A3 to Australian modifications. 103 Leopard entered Australian service with a mixture of MBTs, Bridgelayers and Armoured Recovery Vehicles.
This one is nicknamed "Blitzkrieg".
