Lynx AH.1 TOW is an United Kingdom ATGM Helicopter that first introduced in Wargame: European Escalation.
History[]
In the mid 1960, British and the French military wanted to get improved helicopter =. Westland of the UK and Aerospatiale of France in the 1967 collaborated on helicopter development for their military forces. This collaboration lead to the Puma and Gazelle led by Aerospatiale and Westland designing the Lynx.
60 Lynx AH.1 in the mid 1980s were equipped with TOW serving in HELARM operations. Unlike their American and Soviet helicopter gunships counterparts, Lynx AH.1 can carry reloads for their TOWs or MILAN equipped dismounts.
Each Armored Division has a AAC regiment equipped with three squadrons. 1 and 4 AAC regiment has two Attack squadrons and 1 Recce Squadron equipped with 18x Gazelle AH1 & 18x Lynx AH.1. While 3 AAC regiment has one attack and two recce squadron equipped with 12x Gazelle AH1 & 18x Lynx AH.1 .
