The M48A3 Chaparral is an Anti-Aircraft vehicle for the United States that first appeared in Wargame: Red Dragon.

History[]

MIM-72G was a upgraded MIM-72 fitted with a AN/DAW-2 rosette scan seeker based on the seeker of FIM-92 Stinger POST. These missile were upgraded from existing missile stocks along with new production in 1990-1991.

In the Gulf war era Air Defense Artillery Battalion each three Air Defense Artillery batteries has Chaparral platoon with 9 units serving along side two M168 platoons and a Stinger Platoon.
