The Mechinf is a Rifle Team available to South Africa in Wargame Red Dragon.
History[]
The first mechanized formation of the South Africa Army was the 61 Mechanised Battalion Group in 1978. Two more Mechanised Battalion Groups were formed in 62 Mechanised Battalion Group in 1982 and 63 Mechanised Battalion Group in 1989. These served in 60 Brigade. This Mechanised Battalion Groups were combined arms battlegroup with infantry companies mounted in Ratels supported by artillery. LRAC F1 was the South African primary infantry section anti-tank weapon serving along side captured RPG-7.
