The MiG-25RBT is a Soviet ground attack available to REDFOR forces. It was introduced in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
The MiG-25RBT is a twin-engine, single-seat, supersonic reconnaissance/bomber developed by Mikoyan-Gurevich for the Soviet Air Defense Force (PVO). The MiG-25RBT (NATO Reporting Name "FOXBAT-B") was a development of the MiG-25RBV, but with a new SIGINT package known as "Tangazh'" in place of the "Virazh" carried by the RBV. The Tangazh had a wider range of detectable radars and the RBT also was provided with a new radar warning receiver.
Overview[]
Red Dragon[]
The MiG-25RBT is a moderately priced strike platform available to Soviet and REDFOR decks. It carries six RBK-500 anti-armor cluster bombs and features moderate ECM (20%). The RBT's six cluster bombs provides a good level of cover and strong AP power against the top armor of vehicles. Because the type carries no aerial armament and its ECM is not very powerful, a fighter escort should be considered if enemy air activity is anticipated. Given the MiG-25RBT's high speed, a well timed strike can ensure a target is hit, but with minimal risk to the RBT as it evacs quickly.
