The Mirage F1 200 is an air superiority fighter for France that was first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

History[]

The Mirage F1C-200 is a single-engine, single-seat, supersonic multi-role fighter developed by Dassault. The Mirage F1C-200 is an upgrade to the basic F1C, which features a fixed aerial refuelling probe and elongated nose, as well as compatibility with the Matra Super 530 and R. 550 Magic missile. 79 Mirage F1C-200's were produced between 1977 and 1983. The type was first deployed in combat operations in 1984.

Overview[]

AirLand Battle[]

The Mirage F1 200 is a moderately priced air superiority fighter available to French and NATO decks. Armed with twin DEFA 550 cannons, two Super 530F missiles and two R.550 Magic II missiles, the Mirage F1 200 provides cost-effective aerial combat capabilities. It is an upgrade of the baseline F1 C, and carries improved ECM and superior short range missiles, but is otherwise similar to the former model. The type still carries the Super 530F, which, while accurate, has a poor maximum range. The type is semi-active, requiring the Mirage F1 200 to continue flying towards its target until impact, leaving the F1 200 open to counter attack. Its improved ECM makes the F1 200 more survivable against long range SAMs and AAMs compared to the F1 C.

Red Dragon[]

The Mirage F1C 200 in Wargame: Red Dragon is a French Air Superiority fighter available to French and BLUFOR decks. It has received a slight bump up in ECM to 30%, and its strengths and weaknesses are largely the same as in AirLand Battle.
