Muna is a Redfor Logistic Support Vessel that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.

History[]

The ship itself was actually named the Pereyaslav as Muna was the codename by NATO, and designated as GS-13. In the Lithuanian city of Klaipeda, on November 5th, 1985, plans for a hydrographic vessel with the serial number 701 with it being built in the shipyard. The first of these vessels would then be launched on the 30th of November, 1986 and soon crews began living in the ship by December 24th. They were put into service with the Soviet Navy and stationed in the city of Baltyisk.

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, by 1995, all were transferred to Ukraine. However, the vessel was involved in a series of incidents.

In August of 2019, one was sailing to Georgia to participate in an Agile Spirit Exercise and received a warning from a Russian Navy vessel. The message from the Russian Navy claimed that the ship itself was blocking international coordinators. So the captain of the Pereyaslav decided to stay on the original course, but then, a Russian corvette appeared near the ship and began acting aggressive, but ceased when a Turkish recon plane arrived. In November of 2019, one was towing the damaged vessel, Nikopol to the Ochakiv port after the Nikopol was seized by Russia along the Kerch Strait in November of 2018.

During the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine, one was damaged along the mouth of the Dnieper River as a result of gunfire from Russian Spetsnaz operations on March 30th, 2022.
