History[]
Israeli aerospace company Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) had a partnership with Dassault Aviation for the Mirage 5. After the 1968 Israeli raid on Lebanon, France had a arms embargo on Israel so Israel made their own Mirage 5 as the Nesher A replacing French components with American components. Israel acquired the design by unknown means. In 1977 Nesher A replaced by Kifr with majority sold to Argentina as Dagger.
