Panzergrenadier '90 is a later era prototype variant of the Panzergrenadier that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Panzergrenadier were organized into three different organization. Panzergrenadier Battalion in Panzer Brigade has three companies of Marders. Panzergrenadier Battalion in Panzergrenadier Brigades has a M113 mounted company and two Marder mounted companies. Mixed Panzergrenadier Battalion has two Marder companies along with a Leopard Company. The mixed Panzer battalion has a company of Marder mounted Panzergrenadiers.
The Marder equipped Panzergrenadier company has 11 Marder equipped in a CHQ vehicle and three platoons of three Marder along with a reserve section Marder. The M113 equipped Panzergrenadier company has 10 a CHQ vehicle and three platoons of three M113. Panzergrenadier had a higher allocation of MILAN with planned issue of a MILAN to each section vehicle.
Panzerfaust 3 entered service in 1987. Panzergrenadier platoon was organized into a command squad Zugtrupp and two squads of 6 in Marder or 8 in M113 each with their own vehicles.
