Ratel 90 is a South African Infantry Fighting Vehicle that first appears in the South African DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Ratel 90 has the same turret equipped with 90mm Denel GT-2 cannon as were used by Eland 90. These were used in armored car squadrons replacing Eland Armored Cars and being replaced by Rooikat. Ratel 90 also served in the Anti-tank platoon in the Mechanized battlegroups. Ratel 90 had the capability to carry either extra ammo or dismounts. Due to operational forces using Ratel 90 as light tanks instead of fire support, Ratel ZT3-A1 were developed as a anti-tank asset because 90mm from the Ratel 90 wasn't the greatest anti-tank asset.
