The Rooikat ZA-HVM is a variant of the Cactus that appears in Wargame Red Dragon as part of the South African DLC.
History[]
South Africa lacked a modern air defense system. So Rooikat was used as a chassis for a self propelled anti-aircraft system carrying South African High-Velocity Missile. These were planned for use in the mechanized battlegroups. These vehicles were equipped with EDR 110 radar. Due to South Africa withdrawal from Angola in 1989 these Rooikat were not needed.
