The French SA 330H Puma is a NATO utility chopper serving as transport. It is the upgraded variant of the SA 330B Puma.
History[]

The Puma was originally manufactured by Sud Aviation of France, and continued to be produced by AĆ©rospatiale. The Puma was also licience-built in Romania as the IAR 330. The Puma was a commercial success and was quickly developed into more advanced models such as the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma, Eurocopter AS532 Cougar, and the South African Atlas Oryx.
The SA 330H Puma was the export version with Turbomeca IVC engines and composite main rotor blades. Designated SA 330Ba by the French Air Force. All surviving French Army SA 330Bs converted to this standard.
Regiments d'Helicopter de Combat has two actical Helicopter Transport Squadrons each with 10 Puma.
