The Sovremenny is one of the naval vessels available to REDFOR in Wargame: Red Dragon. It is one of the most powerful and expensive ships that can be deployed in game and only one can be deployed per player in multiplayer, although the campaign Climb Mount Narodnaia gives the player 4 as part of the Minsk task force.
History[]
The Soveremenny class Destroyer has 21 ships in that class. 11 are still in service to this day: 4 in Russian Service and 4 in Chinese service. The Russian ships are Bystryy, Gremyashchiy, Nastoychivyy and Admiral Ushakov. The Chinese ships are Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Taizhou and Ningbo.
