SpPz Luchs A1 is a West German Armored Recon that introduced in Wargame: European Escalation.
History[]
SpPz Luchs A1 replaced original infrared/white light night vision system with thermal observation and gunnery system starting in 1986. In Heeresstruktur 4, the divisional Panzeraufklärungsbataillon had a 4th mixed tank reconnaissance company with a light scouting platoon with 8 Luchs along with the peace time control of three brigade scout platoons Brigadespähzug equipped with 8 Luchs.
