T-55AM Merida is a Polish main batle tank that appears in Wargame: Airland Battle.
History[]
T-55AM Merida was a Polish upgrade program started in 1980. Production of the upgrade started in 1986. The program has day-night CDDN-1 sight and the gun fire control system "Merida", External fuel tanks, additional armor, protection system that include smoke grenades and a laser detector along with upgraded transmission and engine.
These were used in 16th Kashubian Armored Division, 4th Lubuska Mechanized Division and 8th Dresden Mechanized Division's Tank and Mechanized regiments. These regiments were organized into the traditional Warsaw Pack regimental organization with tank companies of 10 tanks.
