The T-62M-1 is a subvariant of the T-62M used by the Soviet Union. The vehicle has only made available in Wargame: European Escalation, and could be say was replaced by T-62M1 in Wargame: AirLand Battle.
History[]
T-62M-1 represents T-62Ms fitted with a V-46-5M engine to replace the orignal V-55U; while in other aspects, the two models are basically the same. Therefore, game stats speaking, T-62M1 should only possess a superior Speed than the T-62M, while the ATGM was switched from Bastion to Sheksna is a kind of subtlety balancing consideration, since the tank is able to fire both two types of ATGMs.
Despite having a similar name, the T-62M1 refers to T-62s that took a lower-cost modification compared with standard T-62M modernization, which resulted in the lost of firing ATGM capability, and other possible missing upgrades.
Overview[]
However, apart from the enhanced ATGM, increased Fuel Capacity with Operational Range due to external fuel tanks and authentic higher Spedd, the T-62M-1 unreasonably has 1 more Front Armor compared with T-62M.
Game performance speaking, Sheksna has higher Range and Accuracy than Bastion, but their AP Power remained same.
