The front page for Wargame: European Escalation is rampant with language errors, and there is no way for me to edit them.
Consider the following:
"Wargame's solo mode is divided into four individual campaigns called "Operations", two for each faction. Each are unrelated and uchronical scenarios based on actual events that went close to trigger open war, some being closest to came to reality that one may realize."
Should read as:
Wargame's solo mode has four campains, called "Operations", which are divided equally between the two factions. Each operation presents a scenario, based on actual events that nearly triggered open war - and, perhaps, an appreciation for how nearly that war was avoided.
Likewise the next paragraph:
"In his successful escape to the West, National People’s Army's soldier Werner Weinhold left two dead East German border guards in its wake, gunned down while they tried to stop him from defecting. This event arosed tension along the Iron Curtain while East German authorities vainly asked for the double murderer to be handed back to them ... "
Ought to read as:
In his successful escape to the West, a soldier of the National People’s Army, Werner Weinhold, gunned-down two East German border guards who tried to prevent him from defecting. This event elevated tension along the Iron Curtain, while East German authorities vainly asked for the double murderer to be handed back to them ...
(Or, just replace "arosed" with elevated or the titular escalated, as "arosed" is not a word - unless we're inventing new terms for rose gardening - and arousal is not the correct usage in this context.)
