Tzefa B is a Israeli Gunship Helicopter that appears in Nation Pack: Israel DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
Learning from its weaknesses during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Israel identified a need for a weapons system that could respond to ground-based threats quickly. The AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter was the only available option at the time that fitted the IDF's rigorous criteria, and so was selected.
The Tzefa A (AH-1G) first entered service in April 1975. After testing and upgrading six Tzefa A helicopters to the improved AH-1S/Tzefa B standard, six more Tzefa B airframes were ordered. These Tzefa B helicopters were delivered in June 1979.
