VAB T20/13 is a French Armoured Personnel Carrier that first appeared in Wargame: Airland Battle.
History[]
France mounted 20 mm guns recovered from old AMX-VCIs on VAB. Originally these were used to support Roland batteries providing close protection to AMX-30 Roland on a one on one bases. Three were used in the Les Pelotons d'Appui Direct Direct Support Platoon of the armored squadron providing direct protection to tanks. These VAB carried a small dismount squad which mission is to protect the tank squadron along with serving as additional crews.
