XH-1 Alpha is a South Africa Recon Helicopter that first appears in South African DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.
History[]
XH-1 Alpha was a concept demonstrator for the Rooivalk project. XH-1 Alpha was created from an Aérospatiale Alouette III airframe to test attack helicopter theory in the South African conditions with first flight in 3 February 1985. The additions included replacing the original cockpit with a tandem one, added a autocannon and replacing the undercarriage to tail-dragger configuration. After completion of the testing the airframe in the late 1980's was handed over to South African Air Force Museum.
