The ZSU-23-4V1 Shilka is an anit-aircraft vehicle for the Soviet Union in the Wargame series that was first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

History[]

ZSU-23-4V1 Shilka replaced the ZSU-57-2 in Soviet service as the self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. Unlike its eariler counterparts which only have optically targeting systems, the Shilka has a RPK-2 "Tobol" a.k.a. 1RL33 radar.

ZSU-23-4V1 Shilkas were used in inner dead-zones where the Soviet SAM systems were not able to engage. These units served in the air defense batteries of the Motor Rifle and Armored Regiments of the Soviet Army.

Overview[]

European Escalation[]

The V1 variant of the ZSU-23-4V Shilka adds a decent stabiliser and improves the optics, making the Shilka much more rounded. The stabiliser lets it efficiently support moving columns, panicking and destroying enemy helicopters all while staying a harder target to unguided rockets.
